Wes Cooley Yoshimura Suzuki GS1000 (Red)
1980 Suzuki GS1000 – Wes Cooley Yoshimura Race Replica
Story
The customer brought the bare bones of this bike into the shop as a rolling frame, a couple of engines and a few boxes of parts and asked if Taimoshan Cycle Works could put it all together for him as the previous shop was very slow and had made a real botch of things. Well 3 months later this lovely Yoshimura Race Rep was reborn with a few modern day upgrades to make life a little more pleasant. This bike is a bit of a handful as it has a real race stance and just wants to be thrown into the corners, which suits the current owner perfectly as he is an ex-top level club racer.
The bike has also recently featured in Motorad Magazine in Germany.
