Honda CB50/125 Dream Cafe Racer

At one end of the spectrum you have the iconic Honda CBX1000 cafe racer from the late 1970’s and early 80’s and at the other you have the Honda CB50 Dream (GP race rep).  Taimoshan Cycle Works took delivery of the little cafe racer as it is seen dressed in red below, the bike although looking like a bike was just put together hand tight to allow for easier transport. The customer in this case had spent a lot of time designing , planning and part building a super cool “steroid” version of the Cb50 Dream with a CB125 shoe horned into the tiny frame, but due to work circumstances needed the bike finished as he would no longer have access to the garage to work in .

Now you might say, that has not changed that much, but trust me when I say that this was a mammoth task for such a small bike.  It was stripped down to every last nut and bolt, frame stripped, de-tabbed, blasted and repainted in satin black and then the bike rebuilt from the ground up.
